LPG Car Servicing

LPG System manufacturers usually recommend that the LPG system should be serviced every 12,000 miles / 12 months to ensure it is working effectively.

An ordinary garage can continue to undertake all general servicing of the vehicle and all its components, other than the LPG system.

All servicing of the LPG system should be carried out by a competent person.

In order to keep the LPG system in top condition and to avoid invalidating a warranty, it is strongly recommended that the LPG system is serviced according to the following schedule:

• LPG filter change
• Visual inspection of the LPG system
• Check LPG system tuning
• Check LPG reducer and drain if required
• Check condition of all valves and connections for corrosion, damage or leakage
